Predator in Lake Eğirdir: Chaetogaster limnaei limnaei Baer, 1827 (Annelida: Clitellata)

Abstract

Chaetogaster species are worms from the family naididae of the phylum annelida. In this study, the presence of an annelid subspecies Chaetogaster limnaei limnaei Baer, 1827 (Annelida: Clitellata) in a gastropod Lymnaea stagnalis (Linnaeus, 1758) living in Lake Eğirdir was reported for the first time in Turkey. In addition, this study was the first molecular characterization of the mitochondrial COI gene region of C. limnaei limnaei in Türkiye

Eğirdir Gölü’ndeki Predatör: Chaetogaster limnaei limnaei Baer, 1827 (Annelida: Clitellata)

Abstract

Chaetogaster türleri annelida şubesinin naididae ailesinden solucanlardır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de ilk kez Eğirdir Gölü’nde yaşayan bir gastopoda türü olan Lymnaea stagnalis (Linnaeus, 1758)’te Chaetogaster limnaei limnaei Baer, 1827 (Annelida: Clitellata) alt türünün varlığı bildirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu araştırma ile Türkiye’de C. limnaei limnaei’nin mitokondriyal COI gen bölgesinin ilk kez moleküler karakterizasyonu yapılmıştır.
