Bio

I received my PhD in Islamic Archaeology from Suez Canal University, Egypt in 2009. I am currently working as an Associate Professor of Islamic Art & Archaeology at Misr University for Science & Technology, Faculty of Archaeology & Tourism Guidance.
My primary field of research included a wide range of Islamic religious  and domestic architecture, in some reserach I focused on funerary architecture based on both Sunni and Shiʽi doctrinal concept and approach. My current research are focused on Islamic Art, especially the Iranian art in both Safavid and Qajar dynasties, also, I work on Islamic miniatures, Islamic scripts and Arabic papyrology.
