Abstract
In recent years, fish meat has been used more to fulfill the requirement for increasing protein demand. This situation cause to increase in the number of fish culture farms. Correspondingly to this development, an increase has been observed in fish diseases such as freshwater columnaris disease by Flavobacterium columnaris, marine columnaris disease by Flexibacter maritimus, psychrophilosis by Flavobacterium psychrophilum and bacterial gill disease by Flavobacterium branchiophilum belong to cytophagaceae family. These increase in diseases cause the production losses in national economy. So this study was aimed to determine the etiology, epizootiology, symptoms, diagnosis, protection, control and treatment of these pathogen bacteria.
Abstract
Balıklarda Cytophagaceae familyası bakterilerinden Flavobacterium columnare tatlı su kolumnarisine, Flexibacter maritimus deniz kolumnarisine, Flavobacterium psychrophilum bakteriyel soğuk su hastalığına, Flavobacterium branchiophilum ise bakteriyel solungaç hastalığına neden olabilmektedir. Bu hastalıklardan kaynaklı ölümlerin de sektörel bazda ve ülke ekonomisinde gelir kaybına neden olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu derleme ile Cytophagaceae familyasına ait patojen bakterilerin etiyolojisi, epizootiyolojisi, konaklarında geliĢen semptomlar, teĢhis, korunma, kontrol ve sağaltım uygulamalarındaki son geliĢmler su ürünleri sektörü ve ilgililerle paylaĢılmıĢtır.
