Effect of Different Light Intensity on Yolk Sac Consumption of Diploid and Triploid Larvae of Coruh Trout (Salmo coruhensis)

Abstract

In this study, the relationships between yolk sac consumption of triploid and diploid Çoruh trout (Salmo coruhensis) larvae at three different light intensities, day-degrees and length (L), total wet larvae weight (WTYA), dry larvae weight (WKLA), dry yolk sac weight (WKKA), dry yolk sac consumption rate (BKT), daily weight growth rate (ABO) and development index (KD) were investigated. Newly hatched larvae were kept in a normal day length (N), 24-hour dark (24K) and 24-hour light (24A) environment until the yolk sac was consumed. As a result of the research, linear relationships were determined between length, total wet larvae weight and dry larvae weights and day-degree increased while dry yolk sac decreased. The best growth and development index was found in triploid 24-hour light and normal day length (P<0,05). These results can be used to increase the productivity of hatcheries breeding triploid and diploid trout fry.

Farklı Işık Yoğunluğunun Diploid ve Triploid Çoruh Alabalığı (Salmo coruhensis) Larvalarının Besin Kesesi Tütetimi Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada triploid ve diploid Çoruh alabalığı (Salmo coruhensis) larvalarının besin kesesi tüketimi üç farklı ışık yoğunluğunda, gün-derece ile boy (L), toplam yaş larva ağırlığı (WTYA), kuru larva ağırlığı (WKLA), kuru kese ağırlığı (WKKA), kuru besin kesesi tüketimi (BKT), günlük ağırlıkça büyüme oranı (ABO) ve gelişim indeksi (KD) değerleri arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. Yumurtadan yeni çıkan larvalar normal gün uzunluğu (N), 24 saat aydınlık grubu (24A) ve 24 saat karanlık (24K) ortamda kese tükeninceye kadar tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda boy, toplam yaş larva ve kuru larva ağırlıkları ile gün-derece arasında artan, kuru besin kesesi için azalan lineer ilişkiler belirlenmiştir. En iyi büyüme ve gelişim indeksi triploid aydınlık ve normal gün uzunluğunda tespit edilmiştir (P<0,05). Bu sonuçlar, triploid ve diploid alabalık yavru yetiştiriciliği yapan kuluçkahanelerin verimliliğini artırmak için kullanılabilir.
